Toilet Training
We understand that not all children are toilet/potty trained before joining the setting, The staff have many years experience with this and will help and support you as parents as much as we can.
For children who are toilet/potty trained, we have notices in the toilet area reminding children to wash their hands afterwards and have a mobile hand washing station in the main room to assist younger children. Step stools are provided to assist with the use of toilets and sinks. All children are taught the importance of good hygiene practice.
Hygiene
We aim to make children, parents and staff aware of health and safety issues and to minimise the hazards and risks to enable the children to thrive in a healthy and safe environment.
Children are encouraged to wash their hands after using the toilet and to wash their hands before handling food. We use hand sanitiser in addition to hand washing before snack and lunch time.

On occasion it may be necessary for us to contact you by telephone to collect your child if they have taken ill or have been injured, please ensure that your emergency contact numbers up-to-date.
