Admission & Costs

Admission to the Pre-school is available to all children aged between 2 and 5 years old. You are most welcome to visit during one of our sessions with your child to see how we work. We have an open door policy and you are welcome to come in at anytime.

We are registered with Ofsted for 26 children per session

Session fees are currently £12.50 a session and £26.00 for an all day session.

We also run breakfast club 8.30am-9.30am at £3.50 per day. This should be booked a week in advance and paid via bank transfer.

Invoices will be sent home at the start of every half term and all fees must be paid by the due date, usually two weeks before the end of the current half term. Payment should be made by bank transfer.

The Fees policy can be found in the Policy folder located in the entrance hall.

To apply for a place at our Pre-school or to place your child on the waiting list you will be required to fill in an application form, this form should be returned to the Pre-school with a non-refundable £10.00 registration fee. This covers administration costs. This will be deducted from your first invoice.

We will contact you when a place becomes available for your child. You will then be required to fill in all relevant documents relating to your child.

In case of absence through sickness, holiday or any other reason, payment is still required as this secures your child’s place at Pre-School

Extended 30 hours free entitlement.

The government only entitles parent/legal guardians who meet the eligibility requirements (see government website for eligibility) to the extended 30 hour free entitlement. If you are eligible, you will need to apply for and obtain a 30 hour code via your childcare service account. Regulation requires us to validate your 30hour code and National insurance number. We will ask for your 30 hour validation code and national insurance number when you register. By providing this information, you are giving us consent to validate your 30 hour code. Once the code is validated it is then down to the individual parent/legal guardian to re-validate their code by the code end date, you will receive a message about reconfirming your eligibility in the 'secure messages' section of your childcare account. If you do not revalidate your code by the deadline you will then fall in to the grace period (please see government website for information) once the grace period has ended you will then be liable to pay for your child's session fee's.

Funding contracts are sent home 3 times a year and will need to be returned promptly in order for Pre-school to be able to claim funding for your child.
